We are happy to announce that Kirova Ballet Academy will be starting Home-school dance program Fall 2019.
The program is created for children ages 8 and older, with no previous dance experience. Classes offered are in ballet, stretch, jazz, modern and tap.
“We saw the increase in inquiries to provide morning dance classes for kids that are being homeschooled,” – says Janna Kirova, CEO and Artistic Director of Kirova Ballet Academy. ” Some of them have danced before, but majority just need to start somewhere.”
Our new program is open for all levels, starting with beginners to advanced. “Our teachers have been trained to provide different levels of difficulty at the barre and in combinations, to accommodate variety of levels and capabilities.” – notes Miss Kirova.
At Kirova Ballet, ballet discipline is the main focus of any dancer development. There will be two ballet classes offered weekly, and a ballet stretch or progressing ballet technique class. To add variety, there will be a weekly class in jazz, tap and modern offered also.
Students can enroll in 1 day or all 3 days per week. Enrollment is monthly.
Homeschool students will have the opportunity to audition and take part in the annual winter show, featuring The Nutcracker ballet.
