RENT STUDIO SPACE
The Kirova Ballet Academy Dance Center’s studios and ancillary spaces are available for a variety of rentals, including rehearsals, workshops, auditions, showings, meetings, conferences, film and photo shoots, private parties, performances and events.

FAQ about rental
How do I book space?
You can book space right below by clicking on the date and time you wish to book. Our availability is shown up to date and is confirmed on the view able live schedule. You will receive a confirmation, contract, and invoice via email. Contracts must be reviewed and e-signed before the first rental date.
We rent up to six months in advance on our website.
What are your cancellation and payment policies?
You must cancel at least 48 hours in advance. Payment is due at a time of booking in order to reserve you space.
What are your hours of operation?
Studio is available for rent Monday-Sunday 6:00 am -10:00 pm.
What are the dimensions of your studios?
We have three studios for rent. Please refer to pictures and descriptions above for more information.
What type of floors do your studios have?
Studio A has Harlequin floor;
Studio B has permanent sprung Harlequin floor;
Studio C has permanent padded, wood floor.
Do your studios come equipped with sound systems, audio hookups, and video players?
Yes, sound systems and audio hookups are provided for your use in each studio. You can play CDs, DVDs, connect an iPod/mp3 player, iPhone/smartphone.If the volume level interrupts other building activity or puts the speakers at risk, you will be asked to lower the volume.
May I wear shoes?
Only proper dance footwear is permitted in the studios. Tap shoes are allowed in Studio A. Street shoes are not allowed any studio, please remove them before entering the studio. This applies to all participants and observers. High heels and rosin are forbidden in all studios.
May I teach a class?
Yes. Please reach out to our Operations team to schedule.
May I take pictures or film my rehearsal/event?
If you are interested in photographing or filming in any of the spaces at the Dance Center, you must ask permission and receive approval prior to your photo or film session. No one may be recorded without their consent including incidental background footage.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, and it is Free.
Are there showers/lockers?
No.
Does the Academy have an elevator?
Yes, you can access Academy by elevator or stairs.
What is Shared Space?
Shared Space is a discounted shared rental program for dancers and choreographers. Drop in Monday through Friday, 8:30-10am and use one of our large studios to work individually alongside other artists for only $5. This program is ideal for choreographers developing new movement, solo artists rehearsing material or dance teachers preparing class or audition phrases. Must call to confirm availability.
