Meet our instructors, guest instructors and staff

All faculty members are experienced professionals and under the artistic direction of Janna Kirova. International guest teachers and choreographers from RUSSIA, GERMANY and USA assist with Workshops and Master Classes.

Janna Kirova

Studio Owner, Artistic Director, Instructor for Advanced Levels

Mrs.Kirova was born in Russia and educated at the world famous Vaganova Ballet Academy (St. Petersburg, Russia), by renowned Russian professor Irina Trofimova, pupil of Agrippina Vaganova. In 1989 she joined the world famous Kirov Ballet (now the Maryinsky).

Natalya Hendrik

Pre-Professional Ballet Instructor

A graduate from the Kharkov Music College of Ukraine, Department of Choreography with honors in classical ballet education and choreography, Natalya has toured the world with the Kiev National Opera in China as well as the Moscow Ballet in the USA.

Beatriz Patuzzo

Primary II & III, Level I

Beatrice began her dance career at the age of 12, under the mentor-ship of Russian teacher Anna Guetsman, a soloist at the Ekaterinburg Ballet and now director of Balletto di Verona, teaching Vaganova method. Beatrice also studied neoclassical ballet and contemporary dance at Balletto di Verona.

Carlos Miguel Guerra

Pas de Deux Instructor

Welcoming our new instructor for Level 4 Partnering class, Carlos Miguel Guerra. Carlos is a recipient of numerous international awards. He has been a principle dancer with Miami City Ballet until 2016.

Carlos Torres

Intermediate & Advanced Jazz, Contemporary and Competition Team

He has trained as a contemporary dancer at the University Center for the Performing Arts and as a ballet dancer from Kirova Ballet of Miami. Carlos been a soloist in Kirova’s annual show, “The Nutcracker” since 2011. He has worked as a choreographer for local music artists, performing arts events, schools, competitions and workshops and is trained in modern, jazz, hip-hop, ballet, contemporary and ballroom.

Antonina Arefieva

Primary, Primary I, Adult Ballet Instructor

Graduate from Moscow Cultural University Department of Dance. Principal dancer for Carnival Cruise Line and New Century Dance Company for several years. Antonina graduated from Nova Southern University.

Join us welcoming Yura Cantillo as our new instructor for Cuban and International dances: salsa, Chachacha. Bachata, merengue.
Yura has over 15 years experience as dance teacher working across the world in Italy, Spain, France, Tunisia and more.

Roger Alexander Fonnegra

Adult Ballet Instructor

Mr. Fonnegra received his primary dance training at the Caracas Ballet School of Teresa Carreno, and shortly after joined the National Ballet of Caracas as an apprentice.

Irina Davis
